OUTDOOR ADVENTURES FOR TEENS

September 2023.

I have now started to Promote my Adventure Days for the older kids. This is an opportunity for Teens to hit the Road and Explore Nature away from Town. Freedom at it's Best! 

Before each Trip, The Students and I will talk Safety, and research on the area that we are to Explore. Included in this initial Class, Pizza and a couple of hours of Board Games &/or Create some Art to get the Group interacting before the actual Road Trip. I will transport up to 5-6 Students on these Adventure Days. 

Places of Interest will range from Pitt Lake, Golden Ears, Harrison Lake, Chilliwack Lake, Manning Park...

Some days we will be part of a Mountaineer Group that Builds/Maintains & Clears local Hiking Trails.

Any Student can join. Home Schooled Kids or Kids in School. At Earth Jedi, we have students that take a "School Break" and spend the day with us. This is a refreshing break for Kids and a motivation to perform better in School. Teens that take a day off School for these Outdoor Activities could earn Outdoor/Leadership Credits.

I am very excited about this part of my Program. I want Teens to feel the Force of Nature. To feel the Healing it can do (without even knowing it). Whatever they worried about at the start, will be left out on the Trail somewhere. They might even come away with a clearer view of things going on in their Lives. Because there is something about Nature that recenters Us. 

Like the Jedi, we will practice this sense of Inner Tranquility felt in Nature and we will work on our Mindset. Once we have reached our Summit, we will have SOLO time. SOLO time is about Grounding yourself. It is 10 minutes of Sitting on your own in Nature, listening to your Breath and Surroundings, and not letting thoughts disturb your Peace. 

That is my Hope for each of them; Tranquility Inside and Strength of the Mind.

A Garmin GPS/Satellite Communicator

All Safety Essentialss such as First Aid Supplies & Bear Spray

The Places that I take the Students are well known Trails, a clear in and out.

All Students will receive a list of Supplies needed with time to prepare.
